(Cistus – a separate family of rockroses)

Cistus is native to the Mediterranean region, it likes it warm and dry and has always been highly valued as a medicinal plant there, it is one of the famous fragrances of antiquity and was already used as a perfume by the Minoans. It smells warm, sweet and heavy - so it relaxes and warms us; it has an antiviral and antibacterial effect and stabilizes our immune system.
